This two day, sixteen-hour, HICS Course will provide the attendees with a thorough understanding of the Incident Management Team positions and roles and use of the HICS tools, including the Job Action Sheets, the Incident Response and Planning Guides, and forms.We will discuss the role of the hospital in community emergency preparedness and response and collaborative planning and will include a facilitated tabletop exercise and discuss strategies for implementing HICS into your hospital.This course will also provide training for Incident Command System (ICS) 100 and 200 and National Incident Command System (IS 700) to comply with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and NIMS Integration Center mandates. Those attending should be hospital administrators, emergency program managers, emegency preparedness committee members, hospital emergency operations center staff, educational services staff, department managers, medical directors and physicians, safety coordinators, risk managers, clinic staff and administrators.
